Ambassadors of these participating countries travelled to Nalanda to participate in the inaugural ceremony.

The new 455-acre campus is a ‘Net Zero Green Campus’ with design and architectural elements inspired by the original monasteries and buildings at the ancient Nalanda Mahavihara.

The campus includes over 100 acres of water bodies, an on-grid solar plant, a water treatment plant, a water recycling plant, and over 100 acres of green cover. It also has a Yoga Center, an auditorium, library, an archival centre and a sports complex.

The University offers Post Graduate and Doctoral programs in various fields and currently has students from over 20 countries, including India, enrolled in various courses.
