Vergara, 51, and Manganiello, 46, shared the news of their divorce in a statement to entertainment portal Page Six.

Sofía Margarita Vergara is a Colombian and American actress and television personality, born on July 10, 1972 · Barranquilla, Atlántico, Colombia.  

She rose to stardom while playing Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on the ABC comedy series Modern Family.

Joe Manganiello is an American actor of Italian descent, born on December 28, 1976 in Pittsburgh.

He is best known for playing the half-human, half-werewolf, Alcide Herveaux in five seasons of the HBO series True Blood and then for playing Flash Thompson in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man

They first met At the White House Correspondents' Association dinner in 2014 through the actress' former co-star Ferguson, at that time Vergara was engaged to businessman Nick Loeb

After 1 year, Sofia married Joe Manganiello in November 2015 in a lavish Palm Beach ceremony, where 400 guests were in attendance.

Vergara's first husband was Joe Gonzalez and she has a 31-year-old son named Manolo with him, whereas Manganiello has previously dated actress Audra Marie and model Bridget Peters.

The couple told Page Six in a statement: “We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”

Sofia was last seen with husband Joe Manganiello in Hoboken, N.J., when she visited Manganiello, 46, on the set of his new project “Nonnas”.

Sofia is currently in Italy, celebrating her 51st birthday with her close friends and seem to be enjoying her time, given the radiant and happy pictures being shared by her on Instagram.
